Cornish producer Camel Valley recently marked another milestone in their support for the Cornwall Air Ambulance by donating £2,270, bringing their total donations to the charity over the years to over £23,00.
The Bodmin-based vineyard and winery has been supporting Cornwall Air Ambulance for more than 9 years, raising vital funds from their popular vineyard tours.
Bob Lindo, owner of Camel Valley Vineyard, said: “My daughter Esther was taken to Treliske in the Cornwall Air Ambulance; last year we marked the hundredth rescue, for which we paid for the fuel. This year we concentrated on the New Heli Appeal. I’ve been rescued by helicopter myself and it’s not a trip I’d like to repeat!”
