This form is for application by Associate Members only; there is a separate form for application as a Grower or Producer member. Trade and Consultants should join as Associate members rather than producers where plantings are incidental to their main business.

There are several different associate membership categories with varying benefits and membership fees. A summary of the benefits and fees for each category is shown in the table below. Please indicate in the form which type of membership you are applying for.

- Listing in the WineGB Commercial Directory of suppliers (printed in the Grape Press and on the website)

- Copy of the Annual Pesticides Book (Full & Label Extension Approvals)
- Up to two email addresses to receive the WineGB Newsletters & Bulletins
- Up to two email addresses to gain access to the Members Email Forum
- Free subscription to the Vineyard Magazine

Consultant Associate members are expected to encourage all of your vineyard and winery clients to sign up to membership of WineGB and to promote the industry body in your work.

The WineGB membership year runs from Jan – Dec each year. If you join part way through the year you will be invoiced on a pro-rata basis to the end of the current membership year. All memberships are then automatically renewed in January each year unless cancellation notice is given before 30 November of the previous year.

All figures on this application form include VAT (where applicable). WineGB normally accepts payment by Direct Debit only. If you are unable to pay by Direct Debit please contact the WineGB office.

Privacy Notice for Associate Members

How we process your personal data:

The details that you provide to WineGB as part of your membership application/renewal will be recorded and processed on the following basis:

Contractual Basis to provide your membership services:

  • Name, address and contact details will be maintained on our Associate members register to contact you as needed regarding your membership of WineGB
  • For Trade and Consultant Associate members only, your contact details will be included in the WineGB Commercial Directory of Suppliers printed in the Grape Press and listed on the WineGB website.
  • Name, address and email will be maintained on our SAGE accounting system to produce and send you invoices as required
  • If you have elected to pay your membership fees by direct debit we will keep the Direct Debit mandate in a secure place and use the information provided to collect the fees in accordance with your instructions.
  • The personal emails supplied will be added to the ‘Vine List’ email forum, the Mail Chimp lists for bulletins and the WineGB staff outlook accounts for communication.
  • Each time the Grape Press is published your name and postal address will be sent to the printers for mailing purposes only (Trade Associates only).
  • WineGB will supply member name and contact details to the Vineyard Magazine for your free subscription (Trade Associates only).
  • Your name, address and contact details will be passed onto the secretary of any Regional Vineyard Associations that you have joined for them to contact you and add to their members list.
  • Personal data will be maintained on the Associate Members register for the period during which you are a member.
  • Associate Members must give a full months’ notice if they wish to cancel their membership otherwise you will be liable for a full years fees. (We will contact you to remind you when your renewal is due).
  • If you leave WineGB your personal data will be transferred to the list of previous members to be used if you choose to renew your membership.

Your rights regarding processing of your data

All individuals may contact WineGB verbally or in writing for the following purposes:

  • To request details of their personal information held by WineGB
  • To request that erroneous personal data about themselves is corrected
  • To request that personal data is removed from the membership register
