This form is for application by Grower/Producer Members only; there is a separate form for application as an Associate member. Trade and Consultants should join as Associate members rather than producers where plantings are less than 0.1 hectare and incidental to their main business.

Fee bands are based on the higher of

  • your ‘planted’ hectarage
  • your annual average bottle production for the last three years.

You will therefore need to have these two numbers to hand when competing the application form.

Hectarage includes planting on your owned and leased land but does not include plantings for vineyards supplying you under contract who should have their own WineGB Membership.

Bottle production includes all wines made on site or off site at another winery, by you or under contract for you. But does not include wines that you make under contract for others.

Fee cap for Growers – those members who do not make, sell or distribute any wines will pay a fee based on hectarage only, capped at Band 7 (£732) regardless of total hectarage.

The WineGB membership year runs from Jan – Dec each year. If you join part way through the year you will be invoiced on a pro-rata basis to the end of the current membership year. All memberships are then automatically renewed in January each year unless cancellation notice is given before 30 November of the previous year.

All figures on this application form include VAT (where applicable). WineGB normally accepts payment by Direct Debit only. If you are unable to pay by Direct Debit please contact the WineGB office.

Please see the Privacy Notice at the bottom of this page for details of how we process your personal data.
