Bardfield Vineyard is part of the historic, rural Great Lodge estate in North Essex . Planted in 1989, it has been producing award winning wines for almost 30 years. The vineyard and gardens are open every weekday for self guided tours .Group tours and wine tasting can be arranged by appointment between May and September, with a ploughman's lunch or afternoon tea. The Grade I barn, built when the estate was owned by Anne of Cleves, is available to hire for weddings and there is a courtyard of 3 newly converted barns providing stylish bed and breakfast or self catering accommodation.
